There are different tools that can be used in online assessment, such as :
Google forms, which helpful for doing exam, or quizzes based on their many available features.
Poll everywhere ,teachers can create questions like multiple choice options and share it with students to answer it.We can ask questions during lessons, see live data, and reports
Mentimeter is one of tools used for assessment which can used to do revision, and to ask questions . It lets us add polls, word clouds, Q&As, and more to presentations and create an interactive experience for students, who can vote on/respond to questions and engage with the presentation in real time.
Kahoot, which is a game - based assessment tool, where teahers can create learning games for students.
Jamboard , is a cloud-based, whiteboard application that can be used for collaboration.
Padlet,it allows students and teacher to create online board to share and collaborate and we can share just about any type of information–text, links, upload files, photos, videos, just about any kind of response.
It's interesting ,as a teacher, not only to know about these tools but how to use them in your virtual classroom to increase student engagement, and help teachers improve their lesson.
ReplyDeleteAll of these tools are helpful and very important to use in our online classes. Also, these tools engage all students in tge learning process they are very interesting and useful.
ReplyDeleteHello Myriam, there is no doubt that there are different tools that can be used in online assesments, but in my opinion from the above metioned ones, Jamboard is the least one since it is more for an acitivty rather than assesment. Do you agree?
