The realists rely on the importance of matter in gaining knowledge .therefore, as a realist teacher, I has a role in presenting materials in an organized manner to motivate students to use their senses,to be creative and to increase their self-confidence and promotes critical thinking ,and this by entertaining teaching -learning process reach in real life example,also I should help them get rid of various idols.
Hence,to achieve the role of a realistic teacher, many methods can be applied. As a biology teacher, I help students understand the lesson by doing experiment, for example about roots of plant which absorb water ,so I plan for the procedure of the experiment and let students do it in class and view result to come up by conclusion .Also ,as for the parts of plants, I bring a real plants to the class to explain on it show students the parts in reality ,it I better to students because the become close to real thing which surround them.in addition, by using using inductive methods, let students start from a specific idea to end with a general truth , for examples, animals need water to live, human also, and plants also needs water, and as all are live in the Earth , so every species on Earth need water to still alive. Also, we can apply deductive methods,from general to specific, in some situations. In addition, by using funny teaching methods and giving real life examples. For instance, to make my students know where plants in the desert can absorb water, water present under soil, so I think about the example of digging wells ,where this process students might hear in their real life. After that, students who know that the purpose of digging a well in soil is to get water, they understand that plants absorb its needs of water from soil because water is in soil.
